Does Follicle Rupture Lead To Pregnancy?

Please see details below
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
The follicle ruptured on 23rd September and this led to ovulation. Therefore pregnancy is possible 1-2 days after ovulation. From the third day after ovulation, the chances decrease.
The sperm can take around 6 hours after deposition in the vagina, to swim from the cervix to the uterus and fallopian tube to meet an egg that is waiting to be fertilized. There are chances of having a favorable pregnancy before and after ovulation and I would like to share it with you.
Chance of pregnancy percentage:
5 days before Ovulation- 0 Percent
4 days before Ovulation- 11 percent
3 days before Ovulation- 15 percent
2 days before Ovulation- 20 percent
1 day before Ovulation- 26 percent
Day of Ovulation- 15 percent
1 day after Ovulation- .09 percent
2 days after Ovulation- .05 percent
3 days after Ovulation- 0 percent
Since today is the second day after ovulation, there are thin chances of conceiving. However you can continue to have relations till tomorrow 26th September.
You may use the above information to improve your chances in the coming cycle.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have doubts.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing back with an update.
I have seen the attached report.
You can keep relations for a day or two more and continue as per your personal choice. It will be very good if you conceive this time. However if you get your periods then you should again try to have relations (even more than once a day if possible) during 5 days before ovulation to 3 days after ovulation. There are many ways to know date of ovulation which can be discussed with your doctor.
Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have doubts.
Regards,
Dr.Vivek
