Question : does genital herpes burn?
Brief Answer:
Yes, lesions could burn
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,
Genital herpes generally starts with eruptions containing fluid and generally eventually burst. When this happens, this is accompanied in some cases by severe burning, itches and pain in some circumstances.
Skin eruptions with a past history of multiple sexual partners or unprotected sex should make one think of genital herpes.
Kind regards,
Dr Bain
