Question: My cousin have a four month old daughter they had a fight and the baby was in her arms and she was screaming an fighting the baby ear test was normal at birth they just wanna know this fight did not harm the child The baby is playing normally
Brief Answer:
Very Very Unlikely.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I have read your query in detail. I understand your concern.
It is very unlikely that the household fight and screaming would damage the ear of the baby.
Tympanic membrane is not so weak.
Also, if there is any rupture of tympanic membrane then baby must have been crying instead of playing normally.
If you are still worried, you can check this by producing normal sounds and see his/her response.
This is my best advice for you with the available details, if you have any further query, please ask us.

They are playing she is reacting and do they get a ear test done or ignore the same but hope its 100 percent perfect from both sidess they worry or ignore and enjoy please guide and is there any home test to check
Brief Answer:
Don't worry.
Detailed Answer:
If she is reacting well, why are you worrying so much.
Friend, there is no home test possible as such. Only way to check is to monitor her response on sounds.
As you say she is already doing this, so nothing to worry. No need for ear test.
If you have any further query, please ask me, else you may close the discussion and rate it.
Stay Healthy.

Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.
Detailed Answer:
Dear friend.
I understand your concern.
But i feel there should not be any problem but my limitation is that i can not examine the baby.
Based on history, it is unlikely that baby has got any injury.
Still, if you feel you can go to an ENT Surgeon for a detailed evaluation.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
