Brief Answer:
As it is a single episode; the pigmentation should subside over some time.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for posting the query

Hyperpigmentation following smoking is due to increased melanin production at the site of the injury. It is very unusual that there would be any pigmentation with one episode of smoking. Please do not worry, as it is a single episode; the pigmentation should subside over some time.

My suggestion is to eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, drink adequate amounts of water, and avoid coffee, and spicy and sharp food (crisps). Hope with these measures, the pigmentation disappears.

Hope this answers your query. Revert back to me if you have any follow-up queries.
