Brief Answer:
Gastrointestinal problems are rare and mild

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am Gastroenterologist. Curcumin has got gastrointestinal side effects like loose motions, increased acidity and nausea (feeling of vomiting). These are few gastrointestinal side effects which are usually mild and usually subside. However if you are suffering from stones in gallbladder or reflux disease then I will advise you not to take it. I hope I have answered your query well. Wish you a good health

Brief Answer:
You should not take curcumin

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thanks for follow up query. Since you have been prescribed Happi-L it suggest that you are having reflux disease. So You may contact your previous doctor who has prescribed you Happi-L to confirm whether it was reflux or not. And yes if it is reflux, then taking curcumin is not advisable as it will make condition worse.
Main benefits of curcumin are it helps in reduction of inflammation so all disease process in which there is inflammation may be relieved to a certain extent. Like arthritis (joint pain), gastric ulcers, colitis, eyes problems and skin disease and diabetes too. But more important is that all these benefits are not evidenced based.I hope I have answered your query well. Wish you a good health
