Does Intake Of Duphaston Help In Treating Irregular Menstruation?
Question: I have irregular periods.so i did the pap smear and everything.i have never had any intercourse for the last 8 years till now.so the doctor gave me duphaston for 2 months.she told me after finish my period count 15 days and start taking it for 10 days. So i did.
The is my period cycle
1st may-7th may then i count 15 days on the 16 days i start taking duphaston for 10 days.
6th XXXXXXX -15 XXXXXXX i had my period and it stopped but on then 27th of XXXXXXX is coming and i should start dupahston on 30tg of XXXXXXX actually.
I have taken earlier duphaston but after twp days the period did not stop.please help me.should i stop taking it and let the period be.

If the period has already started on 27th XXXXXXX again then it is best to stop Duphaston and wait for next 4-5 days so that the period stops on its own. With the irregular periods like you are having it is best to start with a combined oral contraceptive pill like Ovral after consulting your gynecologist. You can start taking the pill from day 5 of the period i.e., from 1st or 2nd July.
Oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) suppress endometrial development, reestablish predictable bleeding patterns, decrease menstrual flow, and lower the risk of iron deficiency anemia.

So now i stop duphaston and let the period be?is this normal?i mean i just had my period and still im having it again before july.today is third day ive taken dupahston ..so today 1st july i need to stop?

Is it a harmfull if i just continue because i would rather finish this treatment then start a new one.plus it is ramadhan now and i really wish to fast on this ending of ramdhan.is it harmful if i just finish the course.ive taken 4 days now just another 6 days i have to take.
