Does Intake Of Duphaston Start The Menstrual Bleeding?
Question: I didnt get my periods this month and i am hypothyroidism patient with irregular periods. doctor adviced me to take a urine test for pregnancy and result found to be negative. Doctor gave me Merifol and Duphaston she said if ur pregnant these tab will not harm ur pregnancy. My confusion is when the result is negative on taking these tablets will get my periods or not?

These tablets will support pregnancy in case present but is not being detected because it might be too early to test.
Take the tablets for at least 10 days and on leaving them you will get periods in 3-4 days if there is no pregnancy.
In case there is no pregnancy then you will not get periods even after stopping the medicine and in that case repeat a urine pregnancy test which will be the rope time to test.
