Does Intake Of MTP Pills Help In Abortion?

MTP Kit
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.I have gone through your query and understand your concerns totally.
Firstly I would like to suggest you that it is not safe to take the MTP pill yourself without consulting a gynecologist.
At most places it is not an over the counter drug and is available only on prescription but if you already have prescription and procured the kit then it has a specific pattern of intake
Kit consists of one large tablet to be taken at once and then after 48 hours of that take the rest of the tablets In kit which are four in number.
After taking full kit, abortion occurs anytime between 6 hours to 5 days.
But in few patients there can be an incomplete abortion or excessive bleeding per vaginum and in that case you have to visit a gynecologist.
I hope I have answered your question but in case you have other questions I will be happy to help.Regards Dr Manisha Jain. OBGY Specialist.

Thanks for replying. I will consider taking the pill only if it cannot be done naturally as I read that taking pills might have side effects which i was not aware of earlier.I was reading in the internet about how to abort naturally.. In some places they have written that consumption of vitamin C etc, green tea and exercise along with that can cause abortion. Can you tell me are these facts right if yes then please suggest how to perform it.
Thanks
Mayuri
Take pills instead
Detailed Answer:
No dear these methods are just adjuncts and cause abortion in only people who had already started with the process so cannot be relied upon at all.
There is no conclusive evidence or data recorded in its support.
So you should better consult a gynaecologist and take pills in case you don't want to continue.

Common side effects
Detailed Answer:
Yes dear both kits are the same.
There are usually common side effects like sudden abdominal pain like in periods along with bleeding and some feverish feeling.
Some have a lot of discomfort and weakness and in around 10-15% cases there can be excessive bleeding per vaginum for which you should immediately report to your gynaecologist.
Take care
