Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Yes. Taking Pause 500 will help in stopping or at least decrease the bleeding temporarily. To stop the bleeding completely you need to take synthetic progesterone preparations like Norethisterone after getting it prescribed from your gynecologist.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.

I am not in town and cannot meet my gynaecologist. Can you tell me which drug and the dosage please? For norethisterone?
Brief Answer:
It should not be taken without a proper examination.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
Usually norethisterone is given in a dosage of 5 mg twice or thrice a day. But it is a prescription medicine and should not be taken without proper prescription from a gynecologist. She will guide you the medicine and dosage most suitable for you after an examination.
Hope my answer is helpful.
