I am sorry to say that 'Parkinson's disease' is not a curable disease.They have informed you correctly in this regard.

These medicines do not contribute much by decreasing the speed of the disease process.Rather,they are aimed to control the symptoms of the disease.

So,the disease process can't be stopped as such.The best thing which can be done is to treat the symptoms of the disease effectively.That's the sole purpose of the treatment.
