Brief Answer:
renal arteries supply both

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Each organ of the body has arteries which supply them with blood and veins that remove deoxygenated blood (blood that has been used and is low in oxygen).
The deoxygenated blood goes back to the heart and lungs to receive oxygen.

The renal arteries are the blood vessels that supply the kidneys with blood, they supply the blood it needs to survive. This is the same blood that is then also filtered to remove any toxic aspects.
The renal arteries branch off from the abdominal aorta. The aorta is the largest vessel in the body and it has different sections including a part in the abdomen where the renal arteries branch off from.

The renal arteries branch into smaller arteries that supply blood to the different parts of the kidney where oxygen and other needed nutrients are extracted. It sends branches to the glomerulus.
This is a collection of small blood vessels where the blood is filtered.

Summary: renal arteries supply nutrients and also blood to be filtered
