Does Left Ventricular Hypertrophy Always Lead To LBBB?

Posted on Mon, 14 Sep 2015
Question: Does LVH always lead to LBBB? I have RBBB and I do fairly intense anaerobic workouts 7 days pretty week. I know working out can cause LVH over time, so i'm curious if there's any risk to that since I would perish if i got LBBB?

And in my later years, would TRT be an option for me or would it be risky rbbb?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

- First of all LVH doesn't always lead to LBBB. LVH lead to LBBB only in a few cases.

- Secondly excessive training lead to an athlete heart which is hypertrophic. However athlete heart hypertrophy differ from other causes of hypertrophy, because it's not a pathologic finding and never may lead on its own to cardiac disease.

- Thirdly you can safely use TRT therapy on your later years if it would necessary. There's no contraindication for you to use TRT.

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
