Does Long Term Osteo Panadol Usage Cause Severe Night Sweats?
Question: Does long term osteo panadol cause severe night sweats My partner has been on it for four years and recently has had really severe night sweats.

yes Night sweats started over the last month stopped osteo panadol for five days and the sweats disappeared. ??????
Lyrica BD
ramapril daily
Distaph 2 x qid
Osteo Panadol 2 x tds
Fucudin 2 x tds
vitd daily
duodart daily
oxytrol patches x twice weekly
oxycontin slow release 20 mgm X BD
He had a fall from a roof in 2011 became part paraplegic. # t5 - t9
was selfcatheterizing up until 22/2/2014 developed UTI which led to a spinal chord abscess. The had a laminectomy 3 month IV antibiotics flucloxacillon
came home from hospital with an IDC insitu

It is also possible that she gets night sweats as a result of abscess she had.
Get it checked whether it has resolved completely or not.
If you have noticed improvement in sweating problem following stopping of Osteo Panadol, just do a simple test, give it to her again tonight and see if she develops sweats again.
If she develops the sweats again, i would recommend the following:
1. To take Osteo Panadol in half of the dose she is taking.
2. To use Tramadol instead of Osteo Panadol for knee pain. Tramadol is comparatively a safer pain killer.
3. To apply a pain killer gel like Volini locally.
Write to me again, if she gets no sweating on re starting Osteo Panadol.
