Does Menstrual Cycle Change After Primoulut N Stoppage?
Question: Hi i took primolut N March 24 - April 6. I have always had a normal menstrual cycle. It was my first taking the tablet and i haven't taken it after or before. My menstrual cycles has always been at the end of the month. After stopping the primolut N pill I got my period April 9 - april 12. When will my next menstrual cycle start? Will it be on May 9 or at the end of the month like how my cycle use to be. It's already May 11 that is why I'm concerned.

As you got your last period on April 9th following taking Primolut-N, then your next period date will be around 9th May if previous cycle was regular. However, your period may be DELAYED for one week from expected due date because of hormonal imbalance (caused by Primolut-N) and associated mental stress.
Here, I suggest you to wait at least ONE week to get period naturally. You must exclude pregnancy by home pregnancy test (if sexually active).
Lastly, if you don't get your period after ONE week waiting, you must consult with Gynecologist for relevant investigation and treatment.
You should take healthy diet, avoid mental stress, drink plenty of water and keep bowel habit regular. These are helpful to induce period effectively.
