Does Norplant Cause Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding?

Question: iam a 37 year old female 5'7 160. in good health and active. store manager on my feet 8 _10 hours a day 6 days a week the past months ive been having a period every other week lasting about 5days. my recent period lasted 9 days on the 5th day bleeding was sop 0 heavy i wentthru 4super tampons within 3hrs.after 4 days ive started my period aga.
i have the norplant for birth control july 2018 is the removal date.im not feeling weak or having a real pain. . in. october 2012 ti had the leep procedure performed in which was said to be a success.

In my opinion you should visit your gynecologist and remove norplant after consultation.Because one of the side effect of norplant is prolonged menstural bleeding.Do cbc and sonography.
