Does Obesity Cause Leg Pain?
Question: I started walking recently and covering 4-5km on a daily basis. I walk on sand based ground in KBR Park and taking a time of 40-45mins to complete 4km. After cover 0.5 to 0.75km my both lower part of the legs pain a lot and become like cement blocks. The pain continues for rest of the stretch.
Please advise if this pain is due to my obese (currently weight 109kg, height 5'11'') or some other reason.

Brief Answer:
Yes, it is likely to be due to your being obese
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Your being obese indeed has a large contribution to the pain in your legs. As the leg muscles work, lactic acid builds up in the mucles. Your legs are growing tired very fast as they bear the entire weight of your body. You can visit a physical therapist who will guide you how to deal with this pain.
