Does Oral Intercourse Cause Frequent Urination And UTI?

Question: can you get a uti from oral sex? or do any STDS resemble UTIs? I'm pretty sure the person I was with is clean and I have been tested for all stds... but waiting for the results in Killin me. I have had frequent urination and what feels like a UTI from the moment we finished oral... I find it odd that it started immediately after oral.

Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed urinary symptoms like burning urination ,frequency for urination etc following oral sex .

Human oral cavity is natural habitat for plenty of bacterial flora hence it is very common to get UTI after oral sex .

Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.

Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkalizer thrice daily .Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.

Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.

Please note that STD is transmitted only through unprotected intra vaginal sex and never through Oral sex .Hence there is nothing to be worried about .
