Brief Answer:
What medications are you on?

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

The main task at this time is to determine what the cause of this bone loss is. The cause could be related to poor calcium and vitamin D metabolism. This could be further compounded by smoking, obesity, physical inactivity, medications, etc. I will like to know if the cause has been established, at least, to guide medical treatment.

For now, proper pain management is of prime importance. What pain medications are you on? I will also recommend vitamin D and calcium supplementation. Also, medications to prevent bone loss, such as Bisphosphonates would be helpful, too.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
