Question: I took my levothyroxine 0.088 this a.m and fell asleep this afternon and took it again, thinking it was morning. Is that going to cause me problems?
Brief Answer:
Not likely to cause problems.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
A single tablet taken again is not likely to cause any serious problems.
This can cause irritability, anxiety, palpitation, increased perspiration, tremors etc for a while. In case these symptoms are persistent till tomorrow morning then you can skip your next dose and continue it from the day after.
This is not likely to cause any serious problems but in case the palpitations are associated with shortness of breath then do consult your physician.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
