Does Oxidized LDL Fluctuate With Diet Particularly After Eating Ice Cream?

1) Does oxidized ldl fluctuate daily in a significant way depending upon food the night before.
2) I had significant amount of ice cream the night before about 12 hours before the blood draw. Does that make a difference.
3)Last 3 months, I started taking 500 mg vitamin C, low dose vitamin K2, pomegranate complete and apple supplement. Can any of these increase oxidized ldl levels.
4)Does vitamin E supplementation reduce oxidized ldl. How much is safe dosage.
My LDL says about 130. Statins do not suit me. My calcium score was zero 3 months back. I want to keep my calcium score zero and low oxidized ldl will help.
Please advise in detail point wise. Thank you.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Regarding your concern, I would explain that a high carbohydrate levels diet can lead to a high oxidized LDL value. Although the daily fluctuations of LDL are not very high, a high carbohydrate meal (like ice cream), can have an important influence in such results.
Vitamin C can increase your appetite, but it does not increase LDL. As it has some anti-inflammatory properties, it can help reduce oxidative stress and thus oxidized LDL values. So, it is safe to take it with the other supplements, which have antioxidant properties.
Vitamin E taken 1600mg/day can help reduce oxidized LDL values, based on the medical literature. Aerobics and a healthy diet (Mediterranean diet) can help reduce LDL values naturally.
Hope you will find this information helpful! I would be glad to assist you again in case of further questions!
