Does Peppermint Oil Cause Dizziness, temple Pain And Chest Pain?
Question: I've been using straight 100% peppermint essential oil on my neck, jaw, and temples for 4-6 months 3-4 times weekly. I recently read that it's supposed to be diluted.. =/ I haven't uses it in 3-4 weeks.
Could I have caused something to go wrong? I have been having weird medical symptoms like dizziness, temple pain, cheat pain, numb spots on my face and various parts of my body, feeling of wetness inside my head near the temple and back of the head.. I thought this tuff was maybe nerve, muscle, stress or anxiety related but now I'm wondering if it could be my overuse of peppermint oil..

Detailed Answer:
Dear Madam,
Thank you for posting your query on HCM.
Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that if it would have been due to peppermint oil first local reaction would have occured on skin rather than systemic ones , but still there is a possibility that the oil may be causing all this .
So you just stop using it and watch but it is very unlikely that it be caused due to peppermint oil .
Take care.
