Question: I just had a colonoscopy and my doctor removed 2, 5mm sessile adenoma polyps. I’m 39. I know polyps can be precancerous, but does having them already at 39 put me at an increased future risk?

As polyps have been found so prophylactically you have to go for a colonoscopy initially every 2 years followed by every five years
Yes as polyps are there so you have the genetics and risk of developing polyps in future.
