Does Pre-ejaculatory Fluid Contain Sperm?
Question: Saw sperm through microscope yesterday. Did not see even dead sperm in pre ejaculate? What does this mean?
Brief Answer:
Pre ejaculate is very poor in sperm concentration.
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
Pre-ejaculate contains very few sperms and it is not surprising that you could not see a sperm. Sperms are best seen in semen after ejaculation. I will encourage you to get a sample after ejaculation for examination. This way we will be sure that we are looking at a sample that should normally contain sperms as opposed to the pre-ejaculate.
In all, you looked at a sample that is unlikely to contain sperms than not. Get a good sample for examination.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

So pre ejaculate doesn't contain sperm? I had absolutely no trouble seeing sperm in actually ejaculate. But literally after preparing my pre ejaculate for viewing there was no sperm not even dead ones.
Brief Answer:
If at all, the number and concentration is so low that viewing is difficult
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
There are very few sperm cells in pre-ejaculate. It is very difficult to observe them. I will say you should not bother about this because it is normal.
