Does Regular Masturbation Cause Prostate Cancer?

default
Posted on Tue, 21 Apr 2015
Question: I have a very personal and confidential question. I am 41 year old male, never married and no girl friend. I heard that it is healthy to do masturbation otherwise there is risk for prostate cancer.
is it true? I do not have a girl friend and do not lead any bad ways of life abusing sex.
I read masturbation is healthy for single males. If so how many times a week is ok or nomal to do it.

Brief Answer:
No well designed scientific study to establish this link.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

I can understand your concerns.

There are lots of myths about masturbation prevailing in the society and on internet.

Masturbation is a healthy practice for sexual gratification. The link between masturbation (excessive or less) and prostate cancer is questionable. There are different reports on this issues but NO well designed scientific study which establishes a direct link between frequency of masturbation and risk of prostate cancer.

Whenever you have sexual urges, you can masturbate. It does not cause any harm.

The frequency depends on personal choice.
In my opinion, masturbating once or twice a week is a healthy practice.

Hope this answers your query satisfactorily.

Feel free to discuss further if you have more doubts.

Take care.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
not at all.

Detailed Answer:
Your welcome.

NOT AT ALL..
Blood in semen and urine is not at all due to masturbation in any frequency.

Blood can be due to either trauma or infection.

Thanks.
