Question: I have a suprapubic catheter and have had it for about 6 months. I have a lot of spasms with it and sometimes leakage to go along with spasms...Have taken oxyebutin (sp) but it cause extreme constipation for me.
Presently I am having extreme pain in the tip of my penis...just began yesterday ...I notice that when my catheter tube is touched or moves it feels though it is going down into my penis and contributing to the pain..?

This catheter was just replaced about two weeks ago, however, it feels like it is touching and aggravating my penile urethra...If I wiggle or move the catheter it hurts down into my penis area. Also, when the catheter is inserted it seems to hurt more than I would expect.
I go to my Dr. of my catheter removal and replacement which is done by his nurse.
