Brief Answer:
Your symptoms may be due to eyelid infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

In my opinion you may suffer from blepharitis which is an inflammation of the eyelids.

It usually affects the margins of the eyelids and is a common eyelid inflammation that sometimes is associated with a Demodex eye infection.

The main symptoms of Demodex infestation are itching, burning, foreign body sensation and redness of the lid margin.

Most Demodex are on the eyelid or on the skin around the eye.

Please note that the incidence of Demodex infestation increases with age.

Definitive diagnosis of Demodex involves viewing an eyelash under the microscope. Your local doctor will know about this test. Also It is important that you visit your eye doctor for an eye exam if your symptoms persist, worsen or change.

You should avoid touching and rubbing your eyelids. Try putting a cold cloth on it twice a day. You can also try over-the-counter anti-inflammatory creams.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
