Does Scapho Or Aprezo Have Less Side Affects?

Question: Hai sir.

I am Plaque Psoriasis pateint from last 20 years.
Earlier I had phototherapy and homeopathy but no fruit full result found. Some times it was 60-70% covered with psoriasis patches and joint paints also started.

Then I started using Folitrax tablet for 4 and half years time with average of 10 mg per week. I was monitoring Liver and kidney function regularly. All reports are absolutely fine. I got very good result from start of using this tablet.

We stop using at folitrax tabelt with fear of chacnes of damage in liver or any other organs. Started again Homeopathy, but not get any result and again it started aggrevating patches and joint pains.

When we came to know about biological SCAPHO injection, we started scapho injection to avoid more use of folitrax tablet. Scapho injection also worked well; patches came down and joint paints also got relief. Now also I am using SCAPHO injection 300mg for one month. I am ok with this injection now also.

Recently I came to know about APREZO tablet.

Now I need advice either should I continue scapho or shift to APREZO ? which is less side affects ? we are not worrying for price of medicine. We are worrying about side affects.

Brief Answer:
Continue scapho

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Scapho injection is a biological which works well for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
Aprezo is new drug which is effective in mild to moderate psoriasis and is not very effective if given alone.
Apreezo is not very useful for joint pains.
I would recommend you to continue with scapho injections.
Both scapho and aprezo doesn’t have much side effects. Both can be used safely.

Thank you Madam, I have gone through your reply.

My understanding is APREZO alone is not capable to mange PSORIASIS and Arthritis both. am I right ?

As I told you I am taking 300mg of SCAPHO injection per month. But still also around 15% to 20% of my body is affected with PSORIASIS. It is moderate only, not severe. It is manageable for me. Not having much joint pains.

What I want to know is: can I start APREZO tablet to reduce dosage or frequency of SCAPHO injection ? I mean, can I use in combination ? is it good for me ? because 300 mg SCAPHO per month is high quantity.

I am only concern with side affects, not expenditure.
So you please advice me accordingly.
