Does Sharp Bladder Pain Indicate Bladder Cancer?
Question: I am having bladder pain, more of a sharp pain not dull for 1.5 days now. I Went to the urgent care and they did a urinalysis and It came back inconclusive. Trace blood and trace leuKocyte esterase. I don't have burning when peeing, no urgency to urinate so it doesn't seem like a bladder infection to me. They put me on antibiotic for bladder infection as a precaution but now im freaking out about bladder cancer.

Brief Answer:
It may not be bladder cancer.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the follow-up.
The first and predominant symptom of bladder cancer is passing XXXXXXX blood in urine pain being the secondary symptom due to clot retention and associated infection.
If you are keen to rule out the same, I'd suggest consulting qualified Urologist locally for clinical examination and get the following basic tests done--
1) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen
2) Endoscopic examination of bladder (Cystoscopy)
3) Urine culture
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks and Regards.
