Brief Answer:
No significant drug interactions occur between Accutane and SSRIs

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for choosing HEALTH CARE MAGIC for your health related queries

Accutane consists of ISOTRETONIN and the drug is commonly used in acne. SSRIs are antidepressants and anti anxiety drugs. These drugs act by increasing serotonin in brain.

If we consider the intake of drugs in terms of drug interactions then no significant drug interactions occur between these drugs. Isotretonin doesn't affect potency of SSRI drugs.

But Accutane is known to cause mood side effects like increased mood disturbances, depression by unknown mechanisms. So as per my opinion stopping Accutane will improve the action of SSRIs by indirect mechanism and should raise serotonin.

Thanks, hope this helps you. Don't hesitate to ask again in follow up question if you have more doubts.
