Does Swallowing Semen Cause A Positive Test For Hydromorphone?
Question: My fiancé is on multiple medications from oxycontin (2 a day) and hydrocodone (4 a day) both our 10mg. He is also on flexeril an recently switched from morphine to oxycontin. Is it possible if I injest his semen regularly to test for hydromorphone? Low levels but still test for it.

It is very very unlikely that swallowing his semen ,causes a positive test at you.This because the concentration of opiates in semen is very very low and after digestion ,the levels in you body are near 0 and of course not detectable in a urine test .
It is more likely that the positive result was a falls positive result due to taking Ciprofloxacin.
You may need to repeat the test after stopping the antibiotic.

Could the confirmation test come back positive even if being on Cipro? I tested negative two days later with no traces of hydromorphone in my system. It was the last day of my antibiotics that I tested positive.
We no longer have sex because I have a severe UTI and we have been primarily having oral sex daily because of that. I just want to make sure because I am not taking anything outside of my medications.

The confirmatory test will be negative ,even if you are on Cipro because only the true substance can show a positive on a confirmation test.
A confirmation test is a secondary analysis performed on the same specimen using completely different technology than the initial method.
If the confirmatory test is positive ,then the test is a true positive.If you haven't used anything apart your meds,you have nothing to worry about.It will be negative.
