Does Taking Sildenafil Citrate Affect Sexual Health?

Question: I am 27 years old and I face from erectile dysfunction from past 3 years. Most of the time I have a morning erection but during sexual activity my penis stays numb. I use sildenafil citrate 100mg before sex. Can you suggest me a way such that I don't have to plan sex around a pill.

Morning erections are more useful in assessing this kind of sexual problem. In other words, if you are having proper morning erections, then I do not think that you are having any medical abnormality that is causing your sexual problem.

I mean to say that psychological issues may be bothering you while participating in the act. Something like anxiety, depression, etc will effect your performance. You just need some sexual counselling from a Sexologist and you will be fine.

Indirectly it has some effect. Tolerance develops and when there is actual need, it may not help properly. Moreover, there are many side effects that need to be monitored regularly.

More than tests, you may need sexual counseling and physical exam. However, you may need to get testosterone levels checked.
