Brief Answer:
Need some more details.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Please send me your complete blood count with blood indices like mcv, mch report.
Zink is generally very safe drug when applied on skin and taking orally in dosage less than 40 mg.
Your low rcc and wbc count is not likely to be due to zink supplements. Please tell me the dosage of zink your are taking and duration so that I can help you further.
I will wait for your follow up.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.

Hi
The zinc dosage i have been taking is around 100mg - have been taking it on and off for 2 years. Most recently taking it every day for about 4 months. I have read that high zinc can mess with copper levels which in turn can affect all sorts of things including thyroid. I forgot to say in my original email that my blood tests have also shown a tsh of 0.1 (was 0.7 in Feb). The doc said probably hyperthyroid but I still think it might all be related to too much zinc. My hair is falling out a lot!
Does this help shed any light?
Brief Answer:
No its not related to zink.

You are taking zink but your low rcc and low wbc are not due to zink. Your hair problems are zink related. You have low tsh and it is suggestive of hyperthyroidism. You should take treatment of that.
For low rbc and wbc count blood indices is required to search the cause.
Go for complete blood count with indices and peripheral smear examination.
