Question: broke my raius about 6 weeks ago
still have a removable cast on
was told that calcium crystals ???? but there are still a few gaps
is this normal broken wrist healing

I'm Sudhir Kumar

After going through your query I understand that you got radius distal end fracture. These fractures clinically unite at about 6 weeks. Cast is removed at 6weeks. On x ray fracture line is still visible as fracture line on x ray is seen united after calcium is deposited in it (called consolidation). It takes another 6 Weeks. This is normal healing. So no need to worry if clinical union has been achieved it will gradually consolidate.
You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
