Does This Have To Do With The Melted Plastic Bottle With A Match?

Question: Hello,

My daughter purposely melted the top of her water bottle with a match on Dec 9th, just goofing around. Then she drank all of the water. Since then she has been complaining of intermittent central crampy abdominal pain, mild elevation of temperature 99.8, malaise, headache. No nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. She is able to eat a little food without throwing up. Hasn't been out of house due to covid and virtual school. Does have history of irritable bowel syndrome, but this feels different to her, no nausea, more central pain with her IBS being lower abdominal pain.
I guess my questions are several....Does this have to do with the melted plastic bottle with a match.? Does this have to do with covid? IS this due to her IBS?
THANK YOU

Brief Answer:
Acidity.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for query my dear,
Gave seen her details and i appreciate your concerns,
Her problem is likely due to Gastritis caused by the substances gulped down.
Give her Prilozec once daily for 3 days and she would be fine.
This is acid peptic gastritis not at all related to COVID.
Not related to IBS.
Revert back after 3 days.
Thank you!

Is the gastritis related to chemicals from the match or the melted plastic ? And do I need to worry further about the chemicals besides the irritant gastritis?
