Does Tobacco Show Up In Drug Screen Test 116 Days After Quitting Smoking?

Question: I recently had a pre employment drug screen. I am 61 years old and have smoked off and on since my teens. I am 5-11 and weigh 196 lbs. I walk about a mile and a half daily. Prior to the screen I was smoking on weekends only (Fri and Sat) 3 to 5 tokes on a one hitter pipe.
I quit smoking 116 days prior to the drug screen. Is it possible the screen could be positive ?

Brief Answer:
it depends on which type of tests are used for screening
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
You have smoked for many years though off and on. I need more information to give you specific answer.
- In your pre employment drug screen which type of tests were done- urine, saliva, blood or hair?
- What was the substance used in smoking cannabis or tobacco or both?
- What type of tests were applied to find drug? (like THC -Tetrahydrocannabinol for cannabis or cotinine for nicotine )
I will be happy to help further after your response.

Hi,
Thanks for information.
You have stopped smoking before 116 days of urine drug screening. Considering your frequency of use urine test can come positive maximum after 35 days of last intake. Your test will be negative and you can pass the screening test.
All the best.
