Does Usage Of Minoxidil Help In Curing Open Angle Glaucoma?
Question: I have open angle glaucoma. Is minoxidyl ok to use topically?

Normally, minoxidil, can be used topically alongwith open angle glaucoma though, glaucoma is a recognised side effect associated with minoxidil but it is observed in less than 1 percent of the patients and that too was observed in cases which had used it for more than 6 months. Using along with established glaucoma needs monitoring. If symptoms of glaucoma aggravate then immediately stop it and consult your opthamoligist.
