Does Vericocele Surgery Help In Improving Sperm Count?

Question: Hi sir/madem i am XXXX XXXXXXX ,33 yrs old.i have low sperm count and low motility that is 10 million count and 10%motility .i am using medicene since 2 yrs to improve sperm quality but there is no increase as sufficient to iui .in my tests testosterone is 6.29.fsh is 4.27,lh is 3.22.i have vericocele .if i am going to surgery is there any chance to increase sperm quality please suggest me madem

Varicocele surgery does not guarantee improvement

Hi,

I understand your concerns about low sperm count.

Varicocele surgery is not known to improve sperm count in everybody. There is no guarantee.

I suggest you repeat ultrasound scan in another scan centre and send me both reports to check if the varicocele is severe grade 3.

the doctor we are consulting said that you are good in hormones u have more chance to increase sperm quality if u gone surgery .so please suggest me sir wha to do .and i want to know the approx cost of vericocele micro surgery
