Can be due to decreased muscle tone.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The soreness in the lower back on standing or walking for a long time can be due to muscle fatigue and decreased tone of the back muscles. Any stressful activity of the back leads to pain in such cases. You need to start with back strengthening exercises to deal with this problem. You can learn the suitable exercises from a physiotherapist and then do these regularly at home. Taking calcium and vitamin D3 supplements will also help.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
