                                    Brief Answer:
Bursitis probably
Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,
I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns...
This is probably due to bursitis which is inflammation of the bursa (a sac filled with fluid ) within the joint... Bursitis can occur due to injury or trauma or can also occur due to increased Uric acid level or rheumatoid arthritis (if accompanied by swelling of other joints)...
This is why I would recommend that you get a blood test for Uric acid level and that you apply warm compresses twice to three times daily...
Also, an anti-inflammatory medication as Diclofenac twice daily can help resolve the inflammation...
I hope you find this helpful..Feel free to ask further.
Regards

2. I have attached some photos
3. Does that change your opinion?
Thanks.

                                    Brief Answer:
Yes
Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, hello again ..
I've checked the attachments...
as per the picture you sent, this doesn't seem to be bursitis as this is much further from the joint cavity than you have described earlier..
This is most probably a hematoma that should resolve gradually within 1-2 week. To fasten the recovery then you should apply warm compresses and apply reparil gel..
If the overlying skin is hot to touch then this indicates an infected hematoma which might require an antibiotic...
I hope you find this helpful..
