Question: Dr. You responded to my question about optomologist using tape on mast yo avoid fogging when doing a slt lense exam. My ? Should the patient Also have tape to hold mask tight against face?marty

If you have a well-fitting mask dear its not necessary

Hey, thanks for the question.

If you have a well-fitting mask then it's not necessary. The doctor would need to use a slit lamp and other equipment in ophthalmology where he/ she can have a lot of fog.

If you wear spectacles though and want to prevent fogging of your glasses you may use the tape.
