1. I seem to have developed a couple of black spots on my tongue
2. It happened a few days ago as well, and then after about a day they went away
3. But then today the two dots reappeared
4. It may have occurred after I eat something sour like a grape
5. Do you know what this means.? I’ve attached a couple of photographs.

Dear sir, I have gone through your question and attached photos and I understand your concerns. Black tongue dots are usually harmless and temporary. They may develop as a result of using medications or smoking tobacco, however they may also be due to more serious causes such as cancer tongue. I would recommend that you brush your tongue twice daily with your tooth brush for three days, if the spots disappeared then there is no need to worry.
