Due To Excessive Protein Intake Symptoms Of Lipoma
Question: Hi Doctor,
From my husband's blood test report, there is an increase in Total protein: 8.75g/dl and Globulin: 4.48 g/dL and hence the Albumin/Globulin Ratio is also off-balanced. He also has symptoms of Lipoma, where the doctor we consulted suggested its due to excessive protein intake. Anything which u can recommend to calm the levels to normal?

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for query,
Firstly these protein levels have nothing to do with lipoma's.
Lipoma's are collection of subcutaneous fat.
Lipoma's are very common and nothing is done usually...As said earlier they are collection of fat.
Yes cut down the protein intake.
If he is active person then maximum protein intake pee day should be 1 gram per kg of body weight.
Just reduce intake and get it measured after 4 weeks again.
Any further query is welcome.
Thanks!
