Faint Opacity Is Seen In The Right Perihilar And Paracardiac

Please send x-ray image and complete report with symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
Faint opacity in the right perihilar and paracardiac area is a non-specific finding and there can be many reasons to visualize a faint opacity in the right perihilar and para cardiac area. It can be from the lung bronchial markings which can get prominent during infections. It can also be from prominent vascular markings. Rarely it can be an abnormal opacity like a mass lesion or pneumonia or a lung cavitary lesion
I need to see the complete report and image to get an idea of the opacity and what it means.
It is requested that you please send me the chest x-ray image and complete report findings and symptoms so I can explain the above findings in detail.
Regards,

Please send email id or something where i can send the reports and the picture of X ray!

The findings show possibility of mild pneumonia
Detailed Answer:
Sir,
Thanks for sending details.
The report is showing mild increased lines in the right lung near the right margin of the heart. This is where there is an arrow marked in the xray.
The above area is the middle lobe of right lung area and increased lines can mean mild infection like pneumonia but this should be explained by the cough and breath sounds when your doctor examines you with the sthethoscope.
Sometimes such findings can also be seen in normal lung without pneumonia because of vascular markings.
If there is severe cough then you can take a course of antibiotics and repeat chest xray after 5 to 10 days.
Regards,
