Brief Answer:
Probably a temporomandibular joint disorder

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to a temporomandibular joint disorder.
I recommend using an anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain.
I suggest to do exercises that stretch your jaw muscles and massage the muscles yourself.
Applying warm or ice to the side of your face may help alleviate pain.

Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!

Hello! Thank you for your response. I did have an additional question. In November I had Covid 19 and did spend one night in the hospital due to shortness of breath and was feeling extremely sick. I have since recovered and am no longer on inhalers, but have noticed that my hair has been falling out and has gotten considerably thinner. I looked on line and it said this is a common after effect of having covid, but is there anything that I can do or anything that would help with this? Thank you.
