Question: Female/26
5'4" : Appx. 185lbs

A little history, I suffer from severe asthma (as evident by my 7 hospital stays in 2017 due to my asthma), I suspect I have chronic bronchitis. I have begun coughing up a gel like substance constantly and this has happened to me on and off for the past 4 years. And I've suffered multiple falls, a bike crash, and a heat related fainting spell that resulted in a severely sprained ankle that left me bed ridden for a month and to this day I still don't walk quite right. I never had the sprain examined. Here are my main issues:

-i cannot walk for more than 10 minutes continuously without becoming winded and my back giving out at multiple times, and this is when I'm making a point to go a slow as possible without looking like I'm walking in slow motion.
-my boyfriend has to help me up if im sitting in any position below chair level.
-my knees kill me.
-my arms and legs have been going numb more often than before.
-I can't bend to clean things without my back hurting.

-from 2011-2013 I worked a job where I had to stand and move around fo eight hours straight, give or take 15 or 30 minutes, I've worked 4 or so years in a field where I've had to lift men twice my size, and TODAY WAS MY FIRST DAY BACK DOING THE SAME WORK I DID BACK IN 2011-2013. AFTER FOUR OR FIVE HOURS OF THE SAME MOVING AROUND AND STANDING I HAVE DONE BEFORE MY BACK WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN I WAS IN TEARS. EVERY STEP I TOOK HURT MORE THAN ANYTHING IVE EVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE. IT FELT LIKE I HAD BEEN DOING CONSTANT HEAVY LIFTING ALL MORNING. I COULDNT BEND DOWN TO PICK UP MY PURSE. AFTER A WHILE MY FOOT BEGAN HURTING AND TRYING TI CURL INWARD. MY UPPER THIGH NEAR WHERE IT MEETS MY HIP STARTED HURTING AFTER THAT.

PLEASE HELP ME! WHAT DO I DO! I am physically incapable of going back to work. I want to be able to walk without stopping to sit because I can't breathe or my back is hurting! I want to be able to clean the house without excruciating pain! I wanna be able to exercise again!

Current Asthma Medications:
Singular 25mg
Symbicort 4.5 mcg
Albuterol Inhaler
Nebulizer Albuterol Solutions (I only take when I'm afraid I might need to go to the hospital in the near future)

I take nothing for my muscle/joint/bone pain or whatever is going on with me besides Alieve and that doesn't do the job by any means. I haven't seen a doctor about my pains yet, hence why I'm here. Today was the final push. I need to find out what's wrong and figure out what to do. I can't do simple everyday things or necessary things like work with the pain I'm experiencing.

Brief Answer:
Nerve roots compression on lower back.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

You are currently having problem with back pain possibly due to nerve compression because of a possible herniated disc on the lower back.
Lifting heavy weights puts stress on the vertebral colon and can cause bulking disc which compresses the nerve roots which come out in the sides of vertebral colon causing pain, numbness and inability to walk .
It is necessary to visit an orthopedist and do an MRI of the lower spine .
Taking one or two tables of naproxen is necessary. Use cold compresses in lower back and have bed rest for two or three days. Then you can start physical therapy, stretching and use warm compresses.
Avoid lifting weights and loose body weight to help with back pain. Increase physical activity and especially exercises to strengthen the muscles of your back.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
