Question: Follow Up after 7 weeks for acne vulgaris treatment.I am taking suggested treatment from 7 weeks but has not seen any improvement>please refer Photographs attached.
Brief Answer:
Start capsule isotretinoin, go for chemical peels
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have reviewed the attached pictures and your acne lesions are still persisting.
I would recommend you to take capsule isotretinoin 20 mg once daily.
It should be taken under the supervision of the doctor after getting baseline lipid profile and liver function tests.
Also go for few sessions of chemical peels.
These will help in controlling your acne problem.
Continue with salicylic acid face wash and benzoyl peroxide 2.5 percent gel.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to answer any further queries.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
