Question: For Dr. Spaho - Doctor, thank you for your answer. Just a quick question to get me through this weekend of pain until I see the neurologist next. He had given me the Neurontin in both the pill and liquid form. Since this gum is definitely in trauma (and pain), would rinsing the area with the liquid Neurontin be at all helpful? This, or possibly some other suggestion.? Thanks so much.

Brief Answer:
Two forms of Neurontin may be used simultaneously.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.

I have read your new question.

I think that since you possess both forms of Neurontin, it can be used the liquid form locally, ( on the affected area ) and you can continue the tablet normally.

This way, the effects should be more strong on the symptoms.

In addition, you can use simple painkillers such as ibuprofen, etc.

Hope this helps.
