Brief Answer:
Not varicocele but testosterone shot side effects.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
The varicocele has the sign of lump or swelling in the scrotum. The ultrasound is used to see it and if the ultrasound showed nothing wrong it is not varicocele.
I don't recommend you to use heat compresses as you did but use cold compresses.
Also, do a urine analysis for infection and also STD tests.
I think it may be a side effect of testosterone injection. You will probably get better after its effects subside.
Consult with the doctor who did the injection.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
