Brief Answer:
None of the medications cause that

Detailed Answer:
Hi Shymathguy99,

To my knowledge these medications do not affect male fertility. Symptoms are usually involuntary childlessness. Do you have problems achieving pregnancy with your partner? Any medical illnesses?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

What are the requirements/minimums for a semen sample to be used in IVF ICSI?

Are there more advanced techniques that only a few organizations employ that allow less qualified samples to be used?

Brief Answer:
Most can try IVF ICSI

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

The study you refer to simply discuss that it is difficult to disentangle the effect of the underlying disease from the medicine used to treat it. I still find that the medicine you use overall should be OK in terms of fertility.

IVF-ICSI can be used for principally any type of semen. The direct insemination makes motility of the sperm irrelevant, just as the number of sperm cells in one ejaculate doesn't matter, as the sperm is single-handedly picked out for insemination.

Hope this helps. Please write again if you have further questions.

You are saying that it is possible in every case. What if they use some particular procedure in carrying out the ICSI - can some procedures require some minimum(s) due to how that procedure works? I ask from personal experience that there are but was not told the details. What if there is only one living sperm (in fact) - can they mechanically locate it?

Brief Answer:
One single sperm is not possible

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

I am not sure that I understand you question; it is virtually impossible for there to be only one sperm. The will look for the ones who are the most virile and XXXXXXX and use them.

Hope this helps.
