For Last 10 Days My Father Is Having Some Swelling
Question: For last 10 days my father is having some swelling in his both foot? Please find attached screenshot. Can you please check and suggest on what can causing it? Do suggest if any kind of test required? He is having some depression problems and currently having medicines for that.

i saw the picture...it seems due to fluid accumulation ..and there are multiple reasons for that . but you said it is only for 10 days...now that is not enough detail to answer your ques...
please answer following questions then i will be able to answer better
1. any similar episode in past?
2. any heart disease?
3. on any medication?
4. diabetic? bronchitis?
5. fever now or before?
6. pain in both limbs?
7. itching?
8. urine output in 24 hours?
9. any shortness of breath...if yes ..then does is increase on lying down?
10 . any abdominal or facial swelling?
11. any investigation you have?? if yes please share.

Please find the details. 1. happened once a year before for 7-10 2. Please find attached report 3. Depression treatment going on. He is not able to sleep well. 4.no 5.no 6.no 7. no 8. normal 9. no 10.no 11. visited one ortho. Please find attached.
Visited an ortho doctor for swelling and prescribed these medicines.

I have gone through all details, and it seems most probably the cause is due to drug propranolol you are taking. that drug can cause vasodilation and swelling in few patients. so you can hold that medicine for few days..and see.
